My counseling training included studying both Person-Centered and Transactional Analysis (TA) modalities, which I actively use in my practice. TA, in particular, inspires me and is invaluable for treatment planning and as a psychoeducational tool.

With nearly three decades of experience supporting people of all ages, my journey has spanned various environments and settings. With nearly three decades of experience supporting people of all ages, my journey has spanned various environments and settings. Before qualifying as an integrative counsellor, I was a teacher and ended my full-time teaching career as the director of teacher training at a large inner-city school, where I mentored and coached teachers throughout their careers.
My Approach
I work with clients to help them achieve greater autonomy and self-awareness, enabling them to better cope with their busy and often stressful lives. Together, we build self-esteem and learn to set boundaries without guilt, while also understanding how the past influences the present.
Teaching and Tutoring
I also teach adult learners the qualifying level in therapeutic counselling, a role I maintain because I genuinely enjoy interacting with people. Quality teaching supports a new cohort of aspiring counsellors, helping them become excellent practitioners.
