“Real conversations. Real change.”
Some people come knowing exactly what they want to work on. Others just know something needs to change. Both are fine places to start.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels more like talking to a real person than sitting through an assessment, you’ll experience exactly that here. I can say I've spent a long time helping people navigate many presenting problems such as anxiety, depression, OCD, relationships, neurodivergence, family issues, low self esteem or confidence - with genuine conversation.
We start every session with a brew if you’d like one and a chat, not a clipboard. When you arrive, we'll talk as you walk in - about traffic, your day, whatever comes up. I'll put the kettle on. We'll settle in properly before anything else. These aren't just niceties - they're how we create a space where you can actually relax and be yourself.
You won't get someone nodding silently asking "how does that make you feel?" on repeat. Though sometimes that is exactly the right question - my job is knowing what you need in the moment.
The people I help
I work with people experiencing, sadness, fear, anxiety, depression, OCD, and stress. Often these are signs of being overwhelmed by what's happening in your life - relationship struggles, medical challenges (whether you're going through treatment, recovering, or supporting someone who is), menopause, loss, grief. This isn't an exhaustive list. To really know what's going on for you and whether I'm the right fit, we need to have a call together and see.
If you're neurodivergent, I understand that anxiety and depression often come with the territory - the overwhelm from sensory overload, the exhaustion from years of masking, the relationship challenges when the world isn't built for how your brain works. These aren't separate issues, they're connected, and we can work with all of it.
If this sounds right for you, email me and we'll arrange a call to see if we're a good fit. It's just a conversation - nothing to feel apprehensive about. I'm always welcoming, and this first step is just about you getting a sense of whether I feel right for what you need.
No therapy-speak. No formality. Just a friendly chat to see if we should work together.
'Jane included some of the most positively life changing moments of my life, her expertise and interpersonal approach to therapy/counselling allowed me to address issues from the past, deal with the here and now, and provided actionable insights ... I can not recommend Jane highly enough' AP
I offer a warm, supportive space where you can talk openly and without judgment.
I know reaching out isn’t easy — but you’ve already taken a brave first step by being here. My role is to walk alongside you, helping you find clarity, resilience, and steadier ground.
